Hi, I was talking to a trainer that helps me with my sport. He says that you need to stick to your exercise and diet! by diet i mean healthy food! do not go on a fad diet they might not be for you, but eating healthy helps everyone. Then, after your body gets used to your exercise and diet your body will drop the pounds quick! And don't set a goal of how much weight you want to lose in a certain amount of time.

great to hear that you have made the first few steps in losing weight- exercising and dieting. the problem might not be the workout or the diet. It may be the type of food you are eating. You need to cut out all junk foods including sodas, three to four small meals for the day, and try staying off the foods filled with carbs or sodium. This means you will need to eat more veggies and meat (processed food contains a lot of sodium as preservative). Don't eat fry food. Meat contains protein which will help you to build muscles while burning fat. Try not to expect too much out of your first weeks of workout as the body mass will increase due to muscle building but eventually start going back down as the fat is burnt.

congrats on your choice to loose weight. however, weight can be a tricky way to gauge progress. i will say that cloth size is a more accurate way of seeing if there is any progress. muscle weighs more than fat, see what mean. there are other factors to consider also. are you working out first thing in the morning. when you start your day by doing an aerobic session, your body stays in an aerobic state the rest of the day. you should stay on the treadmill no less than 45 minutes at 60% of your max heart rate. finally, sometimes you have to dish out some $$ and get consultation from a certified personal trainer. hope this helps.

Pills don't help... most of them you just throw your money away. You only really lose about 1-2 lbs per week. I wouldn't really expect miracles. You need to keep working out and eat better. If you have too controlled of a diet you could be making yourself think you are starving. Your body will go into store mode instead of shedding weight. You need to eat at least 1300-1500 calories a day. Make sure you eat mostly veggies and meat. Cut back on carbs and sugar. If you eat low-carb (no carbs, sugar) for two weeks, it will jumpstart your diet. I wouldnt recommend low carb for more than 2 weeks because it gets old fast.

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.
1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day
2.) drink lots of water
3.)exercise every day
4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

Even after a few weeks, you may not see results. You really should try cutting down on the junk food though. Losing weight is more about what you eat than your exercise.
