I just had my wisdom teeth out two days ago, and I supposedly won't be able to chew untill next week! Any suggestions?

Flavored malts, shakes, slim fast, boost drinks or other such meal in a drink kinds of things. There are several brands on the market. Ice cream melted in microwave for 30 seconds or what ever it takes for the amount you are trying to melt. You can make mashed potatoes (real or instant) and put in blender with beef or chicken broth and make a thick drink maybe spice up with a little butter or add canned gravy. Hmmmm that sounds good. Or cream of tomato soup with mashed potatoes blended in to make more thick. Vegetable juice is nutritious and filling. This is a chance to improve health by drinking lots of water. I like lemon juice in my water, it causes me to drink more H2O. Also puddings and jello. Good Luck, hope the week slides by quickly. ******Pollyanna******

Pudding, jello, ice cream, fruit cocktail should go down easy, a banana.
And you can chew when you feel like chewing. A week is just a guideline.

augh, don't remind me. I had 2 of my wisdom teeth out in 1994, and pretty much I had liquids.....soup, jello, pudding, yogurt, bananas, and soft refried beens with sour cream.

now I have the other wisdom tooth bothering me....yikes!

Sweetheart: I really sympathize with you. I had dental work
done awhile back and its awful when you're so hungry and
can't eat. I was reduced to putting what I thought my body
needed into a blender, then drinking it YUK! Soups are the
best answer I guess.

slim fast, ensure, milkshakes. Personally, I like the idea of milkshakes every day!! Yummmm. Add fruit to them to make them heavier and more filling. For example, chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and banana blended in.

Oatmeal, pudding, yogurt, scrambled eggs, soft baked goods like pound cake or white bread with the crusts removed, boneless uncrusted fish.

How about a really good smoothie. Lots of fruit and maybe some yogurt. Or... a milk shake

baby food! or you can blend your foods. kinda yucky, but it works. Chef boyardee has fairly soft foods. noodles are good, ramen noodles are best. apple sauce, or any other mashed food! potatoes, oatmeal!! grits, cream cheese, ICE CREAM! thats about all i can think of. OH, rice..you really dont have to chew that to much!

good luck!
