I am doing pushups every other day (between 125-200), resting on other days, and sometimes taking double day rests. What will this be building? Strength? What about form?

I did the same thing a couple of years ago. I gained some muscle in the biceps and could actually see the muscles in my arms getting bigger.

Pushups are no longer that no longer common on the muscle mass for the reason which you're doing bodyweight. i'd persist with doing them another day however. additionally you're doing 4-5 gadgets each and each with 50 reps.

you need to get a bodybuilding magazine. there is way more about working out than push-ups. Try benching once a week with over a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and you will see very quick results.

dude keep doing it ti works this is what i did.i did pushups 200-300 everyday Mon-Fri and on the weekends Sat-Sun i rested and reapeat once monday came.it works
