My mother was like this at 16 and she hasn't changed at all. I moved far away from her and I have never been happier.

Almost every girl in the world who has a mom has gone through it. It's just a part of life. ... your mom is dealing with the fact that you're no longer her little girl ... and you're wanting to assert your independence and do your own thing. I guess the best advice is to make sure you have good communication between you too and sometimes you'll just have to take a deep breath and smile when she feels the need to go on a rant or whatever. It's not worth ruining your relationship to fight at this age...

When you are this age, you want to do what you want to do and don't want your mother telling you what to do. The truth is that your mother is right and you are wrong. Your parents have been there and done that. You need to listen to your mom and go to school and get a good education. Your mom will be there for you forever. The friends that you have at school or outside of school will come and go. I assume you both are butting heads because she isn't allowing you to do everything that you want to do. She is just protecting her daughter. You will understand when you get older.

Hi Rachel..

To grow up as a person, you must to fight.

Your mother, under her knowledge of life, tries to make you understand "what is better to you".

However, your mother's age when she had the same of you, know, is gone....

So... there are some questions your mother doesn't know and things that you are far from knowing about...

Put together and talk... the best medicine !!!!!

See you.

It never goes away. I am almost thirty and my mother still lies, cheats and steals from me. **** them all. The best thing I ever done...and I am not saying to do this....is jump out the window when I was fifteen and never looked back.
