My boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship and I go see him ALL the time, but this week I cant go and he doesn't have much to do. Should he drive 2 hours to spend 48 lovely hours with his girlfriend whose company he enjoys greatly? lol =)

*He asks me to include this info! He says we will only be able to spend 40 hours with me and he will have to spend 25 dollars out of his 78 dollar net worth at the time. (lol) He also wants me to clarify that it is two hours EACH way and he will be on his MOTORCYCLE since he currently does not have a car. Still think he should do it????

I sure would. 2 hours is nothing. My girl and I have 6-7 hours between us. It sucks big, and I'd do anything to see her more often.

You're kidding - 2 hours is nothing. In Australia we drive 2 hours to go for a BBQ for 5 hours.

2 hours apart is not a long distance relationship by any stretch of the imagination........that's a piss poor effort on your man's part if he can't drive the distance it takes to listen to a couple of CD's

EDIT - re your additional info - it just sounds like he doesn't want to go full stop and may have other reason, otherwise the man is a p.ussy!! Two hours is nothing at all - if you can do the drive, he can do the drive.

Before we were married, my husband would drive 3 hours each way to spend the weekend with me, AND he'd stay in a hotel. Sometimes he'd get up Monday morning at 4am to get back to work in time.

Absolutely! That's not far at all. I've driven 7 hours for 48 hours with a boyfriend.

Yes. I don't see two hours that long a drive to spend an entire weekend.

I'd drive a million miles....to be with you tonight....so if your feelin low....turn up the radio.......as the song goes. Tell your b/f to get to your location and spend some quality time with his significant other. I vote in the affirmative for going to see you !!!

Yes. I believe so. If a man wants you/wants to be with you, he will walk through fire to get to you. Sounds like things are pretty one sided. Hmmm. Maybe ya'll could meet halfway sometimes, but I really think he needs to start coming to you, ESPECIALLY if he has nothing much else to do!

Well, if it's a money problem, that's understandable. I read his posting and I see it would be rather burdensome. Unless you'd maybe be willing to convince him to let you help pay for gas, i'd say let him wait until the weekend.

Of course he should go the distance for you. You do the same for him. He should actually be the one making most of the trips.
