I do crunches, push-ups, flutter kicks, sit-ups (regular & sitting v-ups), jumping jacks, etc. The ones that focus on my stomach are the sit-ups, crunches, and flutter kicks. What you might be missing that is a very important factor that is usually skipped is cardiovascular exercises. Are you including running in your exercise routine? If not, that might be the problem. If you are including cardiovascular exercises, the reason you might not be losing the belly fat might simply be due to your diet. Exercise and diet go hand in hand. I didn't lose anything until I changed my diet and I worked out everyday. If you are including cardiovascular exercises and you are eating healthy all you probably need is persistence and patience and that extra tummy will be gone in no time.

Most of the six pack abs we see are a result of cardio and diet. One of the best exercise programs for strengthening the core muscles is Pilates. If you were to combine a good cardio routine and clean diet you would probably see some great results.

Well, it all depends on how long you've been exercising. And depending on your body type and how easily it is for you to loose weight, you might not see results for some time. It also depends on how frequently and how hard you work out. The harder and more frequently you work out the more likely you'll be to see results sooner.
these things take time and patience and a lot of hard work.
You'll see results, you just have to be patient.

Try lifting your legs up when you do crunches. Cross one ankle over the other and do a crunch that way.
