can a human get shorter as in height without serious injury such as losing legs or anything like that? I'm in high school(teen) and I think I got shorter. I think because my thigh bone went into my hipbone. am i wrong, am i right, or am i paranoid?

It is possible. You might want to check this out with your doctor, because it isn't very common unless you are elderly.

You can get shorter as the years go by. But you are a teen and that is just too young.
As you get middle aged your spinal column compresses from the years of gravity pressing down on it. But it takes years. The only other way it could happen is if you have a bone deficiency or maybe you ruptured a disk or something in your back. Do you play rough sports? Some can cause back problems early.

I am much much older than you and I lost 1 1/2 inches in about 29 years. Started noticing it in my thirties and forties. If you have proof that you have shrunk see a doctor, otherwise dont even worry about it.
Eat healthy and stay away from smoking and too much alcohol and you should stand tall.
