if you have a truly severe bite issue, my assumption would be invisalign won't really work. my understanding is that IVSLN can treat crowding, spacing, and crossbites, but not more serious orthodontic issues.

you can go to the orthodontist and insist on invis. but don't let cosmetics interfere w/ your decision. ask her/him what's BEST not what's fastest...

you don't want to be dealing w/ this in your 20s (when yo'ull be seeking serious relationships and JOBS!) .... you also want to deal w/ it while you're still (presumably) on your folks' insurance!

The fastest that I know of are Damon System braces. They are part ceramic/ part metal and use no rubber bands around the individual brackets so they are much smaller, and less attention grabbing... They're really noticable, but not as much as regular traditional braces.

They are also much, much faster. I have them right now and the Orthodontist told me that if I chose anything else because of my underbite/crossbite I would have to have headgear... so, I chose the Damon System since all I have to have are rubber bands from the front to back to pull my jaw into alignment now.

For me, I'm supposed to have them off within a year, they said 12-14 months would be my entire treatment time. Supposedly, most people don't have to have them on for more than 1 year to 1 1/2.

And lastly, they hurt alot less. That's not to say they're not sore after they change wires (w/ these they change to thicker wires rather than tightening them) but supposedly they have 80% less pain than regular braces.

Get traditional braces. Don't get ceramic, cause they turn yellow. Braces will correct your overbite quicker than any other method.

properly.... many consult with motorbikes (motorcycles) as Iron horses. i'd have a no longer common time picking between a rapid motorcycle and a stay, rapid horse. autos are too confining.
