ok so there's this guy who iz really short and skinny and he said im really hot... i like him but im tall and kinda chubby... im afraid people will make fun of us if we go out.....what should i do??????? i dont wanna b made fun of... but i really do like this guy and hes gonna ask me out tommorow and i really dont wanna go to school but i want him to ask me out! and even better.... he wuz gonna ask my friend out butshe didnt like him so i told him and he said ok... i like some one else now and he kept looking a me!!!! and i think my friendis kinda jealous now!!!! i dont want her to feel bad! oh what should i do?????

well no matter what someday someone will say something about you you arent going to like.. you are just going to have to live with it... frankly if you like him and being with him will make you happy then that should be all the reason you need... be care what other people think... yeah you two may be opposites, but hey who never heard that opposites attract... have confidence in yourself... and if your friend is jealous... well thats her fault because she passed him up... i say go ahead and go out with this guy...

Don't let others hinder you from happiness. If YOU hear me YOU want to be w/ this guy go right ahead. I learned a long time ago that people that tease and make fun of others are miserable; jealous that they do not have what you have. Look at it like this at the end of the day how's going to make you laugh? Whos going to give you a hug and kiss on the cheek that makes you blush? Whos going to take you out and have a fun time? Who not them so go on and enjoy your life you deserve to be happy hell everyone deserves it. Good Luck!
P.S. As for your friend remind her that she did not want to go out w/ him and could care less who did; tell her that you did nothing wrong and just because you may (I hope) have a new boyfriend it will not change the way you fel about her or you two friendship. Reassure that you love her and she SHOULD be happy for you. Better yet I think you should plan an "girls nite" this wknd. just you two to smooth things over. simply put, do what you want and stop caring about what other people think. Be an individual and screw everyone else. People who make fun of others are simply insecure, bitter, and vapid to begin with. A) what business do they have prying into your private life, who you choose to date is no concern of theirs and B) their opinions should not matter to you.
If they do matter, then you are sad indeed. No one really lives life until they stop following the crowd. people are constantly missing out on wonderful opportunities because they're worried about what other people may think. In the end, it's really only what you think that matters.

Are you worried about the common judgements given to you by the other college students? Just go out with the guy and tell everyone else that they should all go and have other things to do than to make fun of your lil boyfriend dude.
Don't they have other things to do than to make fun of you for having a guy anyways? I'm sure they don't have a life.

well first of all it shouldnt matter what a guy looks like. it should really matter whats on the inside. but if there is a nother guy you like. find out if this other guys likes you to. your friend should be happy with you. the one you said that might be jealous. but if you like the short guy decide quick because you might loose the chance to be with a great guy. if you do you will regret it in the future.

Your friend had her chance! If you like him, you should totally go out with him. Does it really matter all that much that people will make fun of you? How do you know people will make fun of you? What people think shouldn't matter if you like him!

well let me tell u im tall and chubby too and i dated this guy that was real thin and to tell yah the truth no one really said ne thing...if u like him and u wanna date him do it and when someone says something about it well ignore them as long as ur happy thats all that matters...bc its not them thats ganna be thinking what if i had said yes...yah know...so i think u should listen to your heart and follow it...and dont think about what other ppl will talk about the next day!

If you really like this guy then it shouldn't matter what other people think, they will get over it eventually. Also just talk to your friend and if she is really your friend then she will realize she gave up her chance and now its yours SO GO FOR IT! theres nothing to lose : )
