I have always had posture. My parents tried to help me, but I was a horrible little child and didn't listen to them.
Right now, I am 4'11" and I wear a 32D. My back cannot support my breasts, making my problem even worse.
How can I start working towards having better posture? My parents told me to stand against a wall and retain that position, but that is impossible.

Stubbornness isn't an issue anymore. Don't you think that I would be a little more compliant as a 17 year old that wants good posture than as a 5 year old that doesn't even know what good posture means?

That is good. What you need to do when sitting down is to make sure that your back is straight and imagine yourself being pulled by something on the top of your head. You need to catch yourself with bad posture because it is not a good habit and can lead to eventual curature of your back.

I am working right now on posture and balance. I am using a exercise ball and just sitting on it and I try to keep my back straight while i roll the ball around. This seems to be helping me. I have the same problem that you have and I have increased my posture greatly.

Wow, is a reduction possible for you? You should like you may have a real medical reason for a reduction and insurance will pay for it under those kinds of circumstances. Try a chiropractor. You may have a misaligned spine and that would help you. Also, get checked (from a chiropractor) for scoliosis. If you have that then you really CAN'T stand up straight.

I was going to tell you exactly what your parents told you. I had bad posture when I was in elementary school, but worked on it and still have good posture. I didn't have the big bust problem tho. Good luck!

best excersize for that is to get down in the push-up possition, but have your forearms on the floor instead of just your hands, and don't push, just hold yourself rigid in the "up" position for a bout 30 seconds and do that 3 or 4 times to start out with, do it longer if you can and gradually do 3 or 4 sets of longer times, eventually you should be able to do it 3 or for times for 2 minutes each

Try to stand tall. I know it hurts because I have the same problems. Another thing to do is to increase the strength of your abdominal muscles. The abs ultimately help keep your back from using its muscles, which tend to be weaker muscles.

Work on strengthening your core muscles and your back muscles. You'll notice a difference if you work hard at getting them strong.

Well, if you didn't listen to the correct advice then and you aren't going to listen the correct advice now, you're out of luck.
Nothing comes from nothing - you have to do the work to get the rewards.
