i like this guy and he seems interested in me, but then again i am not sure. he is all booksmarts as people may say. so he doesnt get that i flirt with him cause i like him or i do certain stuff cause i like him. how do i show him i like him more than a friend rather then flat out saying, i like you!

Amers? that's awesome! that's what my favoritest sister calls me (being that my name is Amy).
anyways, sorry. heh. this problem is frustrating, and, unfortunately, quite common. If you're like most of us, you're too shy to really tell him how you feel. Short of telling him, there's no 100% sure way of him getting the hint (unless of course you sent him a note, kissed him, etc. but I'm guessing those are already ruled out too..) I actually (shame on me) experimented with this one. It works with some guys, but others are totally oblivious. it did, however, seem to be that the nerdy ones are always easier. Give him your full attention whenever your around him, look him in the eyes when you talk to him, and just kinda make it a point to make body contact. by this I mean like brush his arm when you walk past, just little things like that.

I have a Rule of Thumb: Start off with being a friend. Afterall the guy may have someone that he is serious about. Be careful that your "flirting" isn't misunderstood for something that you may not be ready or prepared for. Let the guy take the relationship to the next level. In the long run, your self respect will stay in check.

well the advantage that you have in this situation is that you can bring up that you like him indirectly
that is how you tell him, indirectly
and if that does not work then have a friend of his or yours tell him straight up
