If he thought he couldn't have me would pursue other girls?

I really like my close guy friend and for a while it really seemed like he liked me. But I don't date (never have) and he thinks I don't want to and never will, he also knows that it's because I'm kind of insecure. People have told me if he thinks he doesn't have a chance with me he wouldn't admit liking me.

I also just recently set him up with his current girlfriend. But he still acts like he might like me. If he does like me but won't admit it because he thinks he doesn't have a chance with me would he still pursue and go out with other girls (namely the one I set him up with)"

Uh ya. Nobody wants to waste their time on a dead end!!! Make yourself available and he will pursue you. If you dont want to be available, it doesnt matter what he thinks.

Yes, all guys pursue other girls if they think they can't have the girl they like. Think about it... you probably do the same thing with guys

I think it would take him awhile to get over you. If you love someone, you can't just get over it in a couple of days. I think he might like the girl he's dating, but the feelings he has for you are holding him back. It would take him awhile to get over you.
