Well, I'm a freshman to and my parents are really overprotective. I think that she would probably understand if you told her that your parents were overprotective. I would bring her to meet your parents and tell them that you wanted to get to know her. Start w/ phone calls and then I would ask them if it would be okay if you went somewhere together, I would go with a group so your parents felt better about it. You can say you and some friends will be going out and tell them she'll be there so they don't feel like your trying to hide anything from them. You just have to try to show them that your getting older and are going to be dating but let them know your willing to follow their rules as long as their reasonable. You can even start by just talking to them and telling them what you think, they'll appreciate you acting like an adult.

Well, first of all, you got to talk to your parents. Let them know how you're in high school now, and you can start making some decisions on your own. You are getting older, and that you think it's time and you're ready to date.

As for asking the girl out, just tell her flat out. Tell her how much you like her,and how beautiful you think she is. Tell her how special you think she is, and ask her if she wants to go to the movies! Hopefully, she'll accept, but if she doesn't .. who cares????? You're only 14, you're going to have WAY more crushes as you get older. And, it's better to have asked, without spending the rest of your life knowing what she WOULD have said.Right? And hey, everyone gets rejected every once in a while, but we got to move on.

Good luck with everything!

Talk to her. Call her. Get to know her, then ask her out. Introduce her to your parents too, they'll appreciate you becoming an adult more if you're open with them, and not hiding things
