Who knows? It has been done before. There are quite a few such organizations that operate in several areas of conflict throughout Africa, Asia, and the Americas, that do such work very effectively.

Can't answer your question whether thats true or not. I'm not in Iraq as aren't most of the people here. Guy above was tho.

I can tell you that there is a little truth in the fact that there are hired mercenaries over there.

How many I don't know.

And what are they doing? I don't know.

Are Shias and Sunnis getting killed? Yes they are.

I think one of the names for some of the mercenaries is Blackwater Ops. A lot of them are Ex Special Forces I'm pretty sure.

I believe the advantage of hiring mercenaries and paying them tons of money is that they may operate outside of certain political boundaries that the military cannot.

Something interesting tho, I've noticed in the news is that hundreds of people are turning up tortured and dead overnight all over the city despite the curfews. Some of them are in mass graves. So far we don't know who is doing these killings.

Not saying the mercenaries are responsible... it could be any organized group over there with an interest in gaining intelligence from the citizens. Maybe they are citizens who are part of a particular network that has been targeted. Maybe it is random. Maybe whoever is doing it is simply trying to send a message to a certain group of people... Most of this is conjecture because I have no idea.

Simply something that just occurred to me.

they also reported that Israel was dropping nuclear weapons on palestinians. I read Al-Jazeera everyday, in Arabic. Dont trust Al-Jazeera any further than you can throw them.

They aim for a jerry springer atmosphere, they bring in two opposing sides (most of the time) and let them have at it. They do it for ratings, and the most unprofessional, the most outrageous and the most provacotive stories make the best ratings, and those stories get aired. regardless of their legitimacy.

Yes, Aljazeera, that fine network that brought you instant coverage of the planes smashing into the WTC, complete with celebration, guns firing in the air and praises to Allah.

Aljazeera also reports on the country of Palestine. Could someone please show me where that country is located on a map?

I doubt anything that you hear on Al Jazeera is remotely accurate, as it is widely accepted as a radical extremist network. However, I'm sure that plenty of people are getting killed due to this pointless war.

If that were true, I think by now all the muslims would be pretty much wiped out.
