all i have is the installation disc.can someone please tell me in laymans terms how to operate the scanner?is their a website where i could print the instructions out or a link?

Once you have installed ths PSC 1315V All in One successfully. You would get an icon on the desktop called HP DIRECTOR. When you open that icon, it gives you multiple choices such as Scanning, Copying etc.

The installation cd should also have the software and instructions to run the scanner. if you don't have it, check the hp web site.

after you have install the driver, go to start>> program>> accessories>> scanner and camera wizard... easily you will be able to use the scanner, or simply go to my computer, you will find your scanner icon over there.

hp has all software, drivers and user guides on their website, you can download the user guide there.
