My ex is working in Europe and is planning a trip to Thailand. He asked me in an email if he goes to thailand would I meet him there . I am currently working not far from Thailand. There was no closure between us really . We just drifted away from each other because of the distance. We still care about each other and write to each other from time to time. We haven't seen each other in about a year. Should I go meet him?

Yes you should go...why not? You still keep in touch in a possitive manner and you might be able to get real closure without all the emtional baggage that you had a year ago. GO FOR IT!

I would go.

You didn't break up because of incompatiblity, it was just the distance....so go.

People that we truly connect with are rare in this world, so cherish every moment we have with them....even if we only get a short time with them, and know we will have to say goodbye again...

there's nothin wrong with that. even if you don't really care for him like you once did. as long as you are still friends, I'd say go for it! obviously he has some purpose in making arrangements to see you... flatter him and go meet him, that is unless you really dislike him now.

Yeah, but if you don't want to date him again, then don't let the relationship rekindle itself.
