"An air embolism, or more generally gas embolism, is a medical condition caused by gas bubbles in the bloodstream. Small amounts of air often get into the blood circulation accidentally during surgery and other medical procedures, but an air embolism which shows symptoms is very rare. Death usually occurs when a bubble of gas becomes lodged in the heart, stopping blood from flowing from the right ventricle to the lungs"

it depends on where the air is injected..if it's into a muscle it hurts really bad...if it is in a vein it is deadly...the reason being the air goes to the heart and creates a big bubble and causes your heart to stop..there is nothing you can do to reverse it...the air would have reached the heart and killed you before anyone realized what actually happened to do anythign about it..

air in the blood stream gets to the heart and causes the heart to pump air and not fluid. When a fluid is compressed, it squirts. When air is compressed, it just compresses and no blood squirts. You die shortly after.

the air gets in to the heart valve and it can not pump any more so you die. and no if this happens and you are not in a hospital by a surgeon there is nothing you can do

If you are injected with enough air into your bloodstream you will die. Once it is in... you are screwed.
