Very cheap speakers have paper cones which can be damaged by water. Most decent speakers have a resin coating that will make them water resistant...not water proof.

If you are keeping speakers in the garage just keep them off the floor and if you think they may get splashed by water just wrap them up in garbage bags.

If the cones are made of paper or any material that absorbs water, then yes they could be damaged. As far as the inner workings, as long as it is dried out before used it should be fine. Then again, even if a speaker's paper cone got wet, as long as it isn't torn and gets dried out before use, it should be fine.

it could be appropriate in case you probably did potential them as much as make constructive the coils do no longer start to rust. maximum any aftermarket speaker can take care of a door setting up and take care of what little water does get on them. Metra makes cups for audio device to help this concern plus it acts as a field for the speaker. Get those issues making song as quickly as available.

Most likely, unless they were made of a water proof material.
