What is the best available radio for good AM reception?

I live in California and need a good radio that gets AM stations clearly. This radio is to be used at home.

I would suggest the GE SuperRadio III. Amazon has them and I've occasionally seen them in RadioShack Stores. They don't look like much, but having used one in the past and comparing it's performence to my top-quality Sangean ATS-909 reciever. The AM reception is unreal..picking up stations hundred of miles away with little effort and using the internal antenna (milage varies on location)
