Loving a person means doing things for her/him which you may not want to do for others.
Shower if you have to. Perfume her, and make her feel good. Keep telling her she smells so nice, and you love her so much. Spend time with her. Introduce your friends to her. Let her feel she is wanted.
You don't mention the nature of her handicap. And remember, a handicapped person (even a mentally handicapped one) will return your love tenfold.
And you will be blessed.

You must be a wonderful sister to be so concerned. Your sister is very lucky to have someone like you. I think that you need to tell someone - maybe a relative that you trust or a teacher or doctor.
There are places that can help your mum and your sister.
If you can, maybe try to shower your sister. If you can not do this - perhaps a sponge bath to make her feel clean. Use lots of powder after the showere and try to give her teeth a brush.
I want to wish your family all the best...

If your sister really hasn't showered in 5 months, your mother is neglecting your sisters basic needs.
If you talk to a teacher about this issue, they might talk to child protective services about it. If child protective services learns this is going on, they might meet with your mom about it. The best thing that could happen in that case is that CPS would then teach your mom how to take care of your sister the RIGHT WAY. I would hope that she would then take better care of your sister.
It's unfair for a child to have to care for their siblings needs, and children don't usually have the skills necessary to do so, but you could decide to try taking care of your sister yourself. Help your mom out by carrying a handkerchief around, gently wipe away the drool, make her bathe daily and teach her how to use deodorant on her armpits and feet every day.
You could also consider talking with a trusted relative, and maybe they could speak with your mother about the need to take better care of your sister.

Yes a shower would help,A lot of soap and water will clean her body.It will take more than one to do the trick, but at least it's a start.Make sure to wash her hair good,as it carries dirt down on the scalp

im sorry... but you need to talk to a doctor so he can get some nurses out to your house and get them to help you, you know also try giving her a shower and the drooliness is going to go on for ever.
