Let's see, the last amnesty for immigrants was 1986, who was President then. Why it was that old cowboy Ron Reagan, the father of the conservative movement, what a great question for a civics test. And I don't remember any outcry either.

If Bush Grants Amnesty

Many Of The ILLEGAL ALIENS Will Die
At The Hands Of 260 Million Armed, Irate American Citizens

The Target Practice Will Probably Begin As Drivebys
In Front Of Home Depots
At Fast Food Restaurants
Construction Sites
Meat Packing Plants
You Get The Idea

You ILLEGAL ALIENS And Advocates
Can Take That Last Sentence
For Whatever Its Worth To You

Mr Bush Already Knows This

Thats Why There Will Be NO AMNESTY

While somewhat crass ...I think JD might be somewhere "on target" in this issue.
The final degradation of the illegal immigrant (80% of which are Mexican) will be to make killers (or someone who has been killed) out of Americans that only wanted to pay their taxes, obey the law, raise their families and pay their bills. Add to that; be good hearted neighbors that would lend a hand but not lend their whole country and land.
Remember it's not REALLY the illegals fault ...it's our congress and president and all their henchmen and wealthy friends that have betrayed us and created what is coming to pass.
Realize that more people died in the American Civil War than all other wars put together. That war was fought supposedly over slavers/money and who would prevail; Northern Manufacturers or Southern plantation/growers.
We are being invaded and our country and land being taken from us by this invasion. I rather suspect there will be a huge, huge problem when push comes to shove on this issue.
That's why itprobubly will never be resolved. The leaders of our country are afraid. Well they should be. And well the rest of us should be as well.

We'll wait another decade or so until another 20 million or so come over and grant another amnesty.

They receive amnesty.

they will become "citizens" of my country without having to earn it. In my eyes though they will still be the illegal scum they are today. If they try to grant them amnesty, I think a lot of good Americans will go temporarily "insane" and just might "accidentally" get rid of some of them permanently. That's why I don't think that the American government will give it to them. JD, I see you got the right idea just like me. Good to see that I'm not alone.

They will pay taxes and soc. sec. and get this nation out of the red! or do you only want to hear the negative and not the good all those millions of immigrants will do?

They're not "immigrants", they're ILLEGAL ALIENS. I've said this before: It's like calling child molesters "youth enthusiasts".
