I think diets are bad, they can deprive your body of many good vitamins that are in some unhealthy foods. I recomend just eating better. For example: Boil don't fry your chicken. Most people don't get enough veggies. You should have at least one to two salads as a side with meals. Substitute soda with water or juice. Substitute your coffee with green tea, you'll get your caffeine and antioxidants! Try not to use pills or special diets or shakes to replace you meals!....And don't skip meals! Beacause when you do that, your body subconciously will store the part of you next meal as fat for energy storage.

The best diet is the one you can stick with.
The most common sense approach is to watch your calorie intake (this is depending on your age, weight, etc .. generally to gain 1lb you need to eat about 3500 extra calories per week - so to lose 1lb, cut back about 3500 calories per week ... or about 500 calories per day from what you currently eat), cut back on sugars and simple carbs (switch to whole grain breads, etc). Add to that plenty of exercise (30-45 min cardio, 5-6 days per week, plus 2-3 days of strength training), and lots of water (80-100oz - minimum recommended is 64oz). This will help you lose weight, and help you keep it off, in a healthy way.

my mom's friend tried it and she lost like 20 or 30 pounds or something
the best one is to go on a meat diet
not to eat meat for several days or a week
it doesnt have to be A MONTH
if you go on it for 2 or 3 days, i garuntee you you will loose pound fast!!!
But remember: NO MEAT AT ALL
that means no turkey leftovers!!!
