I have been single for some time now and feel ready to try again. I've considered on line dating but am a bit scared. Any goods news about meeting someone on line?

I definitely think you should go for it. Try eharmony, I know a few people that have had GREAT luck. One friend in particular went on about 5-10 dates and thought all of the guys were great but she wasn't attracted to them. Then she found the right one and they have been together for a few years.
And before I got into the relationship I am in now, I wasn't completely ready to try online dating, so I created a profile but never answered the emails I was sent- (you don't HAVE to answer them!). I just wasn't ready to make those connections, but it was really nice to know that guys were somewhat interested!!
PLUS my mom hasn't dated in years and she met this guy that is her everything. He lives in the UK and they are going to have an internet wedding, sounds strange, but she has never been better!!

Hey, I apologize for not being the bearer of good news on this topic but it doesn't matter what your age, on line dating isn't the best way to go! The reason being; studies show that you only get to know 7% of a person's personality through on line chat. So you're better off meeting your date in person and getting to know him or her on a one on one basis. Best of Luck to you! Mind you, it's a great place to meet people and enjoy chatting with other singles and such but I recommend that you proceed with extreme caution if you're going to go ahead with this method of finding a potential relationship.

Darling what is mean to happen is mean to happen. Go for it, why not? you never know, follow your heart and go online, you might meet someone wonderful there. I know very nice stories about it. Go for it, you've got nothing to lose
