Can anybody recommend good, easy to use DVD copying software? I'm using DVD Shrink at the moment but there's a couple of things about it I can't get my head around.. like the fact that it saves one copy at the time on the hard drive..

save the dvd on your hard drive using dvd shrink them use nero to burn onto a disc and double clikc on the VIDEO_TS folder of the disc on yer hard drive and it will auto write to the dvd, if you do the same with AUDIO_TS it will say cannot overwrite or summat, this is normal. burn using nero, category dvd. then delete the folder you created for puttin the dvd on the hard disk in the first place and the job is a goddun

All sources must be continuously available until the merge process completes -- you can’t pop a DVD out of a drive and put in another; if you do, the Merge entries from the disc you remove will be deleted from the Merge list. In practice this means that you’ll be copying to HDD for some sources anyway, unless you have lots of optical drives or a project with few sources.

I use 2 programs - DVD decrypter, to save to hard drive, and then Roxio Easy DVD Copy. If your DVD is protected, you need to save the decrypted version to your hard drive first.

If your DVD is unprotected, you can do a straight disk to disk copy using Roxio, and it's idiotproof! DVD decrypter was a free download, and Roxio cost about £35, and it is definitely worth the money.

Hope this helps....

Clone dvd (please google it) it is not illegal to copy dvd as long as you own the original and it is for your use only (then again it is estimated everyone breaks the law around 5 times a day.

The software is legal but expect to provide £££ for the service - you can download a 30 days trial though...

The company also provide - ANYDVD (a program to view DVD from any country i.e region one and two dvds), CLONE CD and CLONE DUCK (all cost money to fully donwload but trials are available...
