Assuming the cake was large enough to accomodate for enough of either size for all guests.

I think it depends on the cake. If it were a chocolate cake, with white or chocolate icing, I would love a huge peice. But if it were some weird thing with some bizzarre flavor and filling and fruit-flavored icing...I'd say just a tiny sliver because chances are I won't like it.

I think a good way to do it might be to cut several little slivers of cake and several larger peices, and then let the guest choose how much they'd like.

A birthday cake size!!!! But I try to be thoughtful and eat a sliver and there's always seconds.

Sorry, I've never seen tiny slivers of cake at a wedding. They all seemed decent size to me.

Personally I'd eat a big piece but most wedding guests waste theirs. So go with the slivers.

Since most weddings serve a lot of courses, I would prefer the tiny sliver of cake - especially if there is a dessert table and more to choose from. :)

Everyone is already full and tipsy by that time. Sliver is enough,
half the people don't even touch the cake that is set in front of them anyway.

I commonly grab a clean cleansing soap and positioned the tiny little chew in the little cleansing soap shelf and it sits there for a protracted time until sometime i'm cleansing out the stuff I particularly have around the bathe cabinets and that i throw it away. in specific circumstances my husband will throw it away too although. i think i'm lazy and it style of feels wasteful to throw it away, even even though it by no potential particularly gets used returned the two!

A tiny slice is good that way guests can help them selves to other deserts at the buffet such as cookies and pies.

Since this is listed under weddings, I'm guessing you mean at a wedding reception. I wold rather have a small piece since the cake is usually not as temptoing to me as the other food....
