Very short and to the point...cut and dry. Unless it's a love letter or even a goodbye letter.

Depends on what the e-mail is about. I prefer short e-mails because I hate spending time reading one long e-mail, but sometimes long e-mails are good. I would hate to get a long e-mail from my gf though because that means we are not with each other much and she has to fill me in on a lot. Short e-mails mean we are with each other enough that all we really need to say is "Hi" or "I Love You" or just talk sometimes to, but with Phones and Text now don't really need e-mail for that.

Depending on who is writing me. If it is someone I want to hear from, I prefer a longer, more chatty email. If it's work, short & sweet. Sometimes I get really long-winded in my emailing..so this is a sensitive subject for me..have to restart an email like 6 times..heh

I love to read interesting long mails.
If it is too short then I feel that I am missing something, which I don't like.
If the mail is long but either uninteresting or just beating about the bush without any apparent link or meaning in it then I dislike it.
Since I like to read a long mail it better be good.
Also a long, good mail makes one's wait for the mail worthwhile.
One feels happy after reading it.

Reply to his emails with the same general length of the email he sent you. If the guys sends short emails, keep yours short. If he sends you long emails then feel free to reply with length.

I think it depends on the guy.
Does he like to read or write (books, magazines, poetry)? Does he like to ask you what you are thinking? If yes to those, long emails should be okay. However, don't write just to make it long, that could leave you with an uninteresting message.
If he seems like an antsy or faced pace guy, keep it short.

from a guy short and to the point. from a girl as long as she wanted and I would want them all the time if we communicate really well. I love emails from my girlfriends.
