It happened to me! I was told up until my 8th month that it was a girl. When I found out I was pregnant I just "felt" boy. I kept that all the way until then. When I went in for Braxton Hicks they did the ultrasound and it was....A BOY!!
Always go w/ your first instinct!! Hey, you've got a 50/50 chance of being right!! LOL!!

Yep but it is rare. Really rare. Usually they will say a boy and get a girl because of the ambilical cord. If you are lucky they will do a 3-D ultrasound and get a compoletely clear view. Don't worry about it. They are way better at it then 20 years ago. If they are seeing a girl and the heartbeat sounds like a girl then it's a girl.

well im pregnant with my first child right now (its a girl) so i cant say, but i do have a friend that was told in the beginning of her pregnancy that she was having a girl but later on in her pregnancy she was told she was having a boy.... crazy part of it was that she was told this a few days after she had her baby shower and by everyone thinking it was a girl bought all pink items. but that was the 1st time i knew of that happening everyone else i know that had babies was told they were having either a girl or boy and that is in fact what they end up having. I had a friend who was told she was having a girl, but it ended up being a boy. They said that because the fetus was in a 'modest' position when they did an ultrasound, and they did not see the mascuine "equipment".

My sister did. They swore up and down my nephew was a boy, they swore they could actually see labia and everything. They thought this for a few months, even named him Tiffani! But about a week before he was born they did an amnio and found out he was a boy!

I found out a girl was told she was having a boy....ended up with a girl.... i told my doc about it and my doc said that was weird...if they are going to screw it up, it would be saying its a girl when it is infact a boy....so it is possible to be screwed up. This girl was told 2 times it was a boy...cmae out a girl

Doctor told my Mother that I was a boy, but she knew better, proved him wrong.
A co-worker was told twice she was having a girl, she had a lil boy.

one of my friends said she was supposed to be a boy, but she's a girl. doctors are wrong SOMETIMES. but my two sisters and brother and I all came out the gender the doctor said we would be

I have heard of this happening but its very rare.
