Muslim women, how would you feel if you hear your Muslim husband say this?

"It is better to watch your wife being raped by so many men that to force you to eat pork."
That was true! I heard a Muslim congressman said that on TV. Do you have a verse in Quran to support that statement?

That happened here in the Philippines just last week. I'm not trying to put down Muslims but that really happened, captured on national TV, radio, newspapers. That was the Muslim congressman's reaction when a waitress accidentally served pork to his fellow Muslim congresswoman. The Muslim congresswoman slapped, threw glass of water, and tried to stab the waitress after that.

Qoute from the Muslim congressman's statement..

"If it were me, I don’t know what will be my state of my mind. Muslims can kill," he warned.

Macarambon said that for a Muslim, the anguish one feels after being made to eat pork is actually worse than seeing one’s wife being raped in front of him.

It's not in the Quran. It means that this congressman is bragging about how serious he is about not eating pork.
He should've put it in another way. It does sound rather offensive.
If he were to watch his wife being raped it's just as bad, if not worse than eating pork.
Muslim husbands are told in the Quran to respect their wives.

i imagine to some quantity they do because maximum Muslims come from a subculture the position family contributors and are particularly major. a woman in islam is not property like some of you stated here! She is honored and respected. At least I know my husband WOULD NEVER SAY That about me. He is an excellent Muslim man. Besides, Allah is merciful and forgives a muslim if they even mistakingly eat pork so if they were forced into it, I'm sure they would never compare that to watching men rape their wives.
