I work with people who have OCD-obsessive compulsive disorder, you don't say what things that you keep doing over and over, some people wash their hands over and over again, or touch people constantly, keep on the same subject, etc. Medications do help, you would need to go to a doctor to find out what medications help. Some of the medications that I have seen results from are: Anafranil, Seroquel, Tegretol,
Good luck

I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). One of the main things therapists look for when diagnosing OCD is whether or not the person who is repeating rituals or behaviors wants to stop. If you feel that this is negatively affecting your abilty to happily live your life, you need to seek the help of a therapist or psychiatrist ASAP. If they give you a dianosis for OCD, they can help you with behavior therapy and medication. I know exactly how frustrated you feel. Go ahead and send me an e-mail if you like.

Talking with a therapist is a good idea...if you don't have one, you could ask your regular doctor if you're not sure where to start.

it sounds like OCD not OCB....see a therapist about your OCD and see what they think....you may just need some counseling and how to handle your impulses or you could just need some medication...see a therapist
