I am not sure if I should try to sell my recipe for chili to a restrarant or to market it and put it on super market shelfs. which is the better choice for CA or US and how would I go about taking that route.

Thanks for your help!

Its unlikely that your chili recipie is so unique that a restaurant would pay for it... that being said... if I wanted to sell a recipie... I might start a paid for news letter that included a few new recipies every month... I might also try to submit my recipie to food magazines dedicated to the type of food I was making (check to see if they actually accept recipies and whether or not they will pay for them if published) that may be a good way to gauge whether or not your recipies are marketable. Good luck

putting something like on the shelfs can be difficult. Remember that it probably wont taste as good as it does fresh.

So I guess you are better of trying to sell it to a restaurant, or to a recipe magazine.
Good Luck!!

The best way is start your own chili hut it don't have to be big just do it on week-ends until you get rich.
