I swear I do. And it's just weird random things...not all the time. For ex....
- I have to click my seat belt 5 times EVERYTIME. And sometimes I start over and start counting again.
- I can't ever step on sidewalk cracks.
- Everything has to be symmetrical. Like, if I step over a sidewalk crack with my right foot, I have to step over the next one with my left foot. And if I touch the right side of my face or whatever, I have to touch the left side, too.
- And I'm obsessed with checking my phone. Like, I can't close my phone until I've looked at it for at least 10 seconds. And I have to sit there and count to 10.

Yes, that does sound like you might have some form of obsessive compulsive disorder. If it is getting in the way of your everyday life you should see a psychiatrist, there are medications(like luvox) and counseling to treat this.

See a Psychiatrist and tell him/her exactly what you have just asked (not a family doctor) to get his/her opinion. A psychiatrist specializes in this kind of stuff and can better tell you rather than anyone here on Yahoo Answers.

Definitely.
But don't worry- there's treatments available- prescriptions and therapies that can help you. there's no shame in seeking help- it's better that the alternative, which is letting this chemical imbalance in your brain rule your life. (and it only gets worse as you get older, so you need to treat the problem now, while it's still relatively minor.)

It sounds like you might have a mild case of OCD. I don't think it's too serious though - you don't sound as if your entire life has been turned upside down because of these activities. If you had a very serious case of OCD, you wouldn't even be on Y!A, you'd be too busy doing your obsessions and compulsions. If you're still worried, or if you notice these things increasingly disrupting your daily functioning, please contact your doctor ASAP. Good luck.

Yes I would say you do have it, my sister does and she does the same kind of stuff, especially the symmetrical thing. As long as it's not taking over your life I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Luv, talk to your doctor about this, as well as family and friends. Then seek some medical relief, by talking medication, or seeing a therapist.
Things can improve, if you seek help.
