You should feed it until its crop or stomach is visibly sticking out. Don't feed too much at one time, many times during the day is preferred. You know you're doing it right if you can see that the chick isnt getting skinnier and if u can see that it is swallowing the food.

Keep it warm, Keep it indoors, keep it in a small box or container filled with bedding material, and make sure they're arent any rats around (they might attuck the chick).

experience: I've done this 4 times before

Kay-tee brand hand-feeding formula has excellent instructions on a paper inside the can. Very important to keep all the utensils clean or the bird will die from bacterial infection. The bird should be making noises every time it wants to be fed. The crop should be full but not overfull. Hand-feeding birds is a wonderful experience and after people have good success once, they usually do it again because it is a wonderful feeling to take care of an animal.

circulate on your close by puppy shop and purchase the nutrition this is extremely expert for budgies. in the adventure that your budgies are biting and hissing at you. circulate away them on my own for a pair of days, basically allowing them to watch you substitute the nutrition of their cage. interior the morning, take each and every of the nutrition out of the cage for an hour, then try to hand feed them with some spray millet (get at close by puppy shop). in the beginning they might no longer come so wait and notice. stay there, offering the millet for type of two minutes to enable the birds be attentive to you're friendly. in the event that they do no longer settle for, try returned after yet another hour. while they settle for the millet, placed the nutrition returned and circulate away them on my own. save doing the comparable element for a pair of days, then, as a substitute of the spray millet, get the comparable nutrition which you put in the cage and placed some on your hand. Do the comparable element and wait 2 minutes. i'm hoping this helped. :)
