I love wearing stockings. I am not so hot on pantyhose, they are really for older ladies who need control,and who needs a panty sewed to your stockings? Most of the girls my age go for thigh highs or stockings. I like the stockings that need a garter belt better than the thigh highs, because they don't have all that elastic in them and they are shinier and more slippery.
They dress up any outfit, and make something casual look very expensive and dressy, plus the guys go nuts over them.

I work in wholesale retail hosiery industry... Pantyhose are like bras, they come is sizes. Would you try a one size fits all bra and think it would fit you properly? I don't think so....
Pantyhose come in an assortment of sizes and colors and deniers and knits. The cheapest is a mesh stretch. Unfortunately when a gal want to try a pair they reach for the cheaper ones. The mesh stretch come in one size or queen. If you really want to try a comfortable item try a flat knit pantyhose it is very sheer 12-15 denier and very comfortable, but they run a few bucks more than the mesh per pair. the difference is like $1 for the mesh and $4.99 for the flat knit. also the flat knit comes in 15 to 20 pound intervals as in S,M,L,Xl,1x-4x,4x-6x,6x-8x.
Then there is Fishnet the cheapy ones are ruff to the touch, but if you get the soft cotton one they feel really nice.
Lace.... well your on you own with lace they are all scratchy a bit. Javel makes a nice one with some cotton and not 100% nylon.
Stockings are the most comfortable.

I think the perfect woman would be wearing sheer nylon stockings and a garter belt 24/7. Pantyhose are best used to strain paint, or rob a bank.

I am really into sheer stockings and garter belts, and wear them to work all the time. Pantyhose are another matter, I really don't like them they because they have no purpose. My legs look great in stockings and my own underwear, I don't need them sewed together so I have to pull them both down at once like a pair of children's tights.

I love wearing stockings and do so every day. Pantyhose not so much, usually with jeans or sportswear. Stockings with a garter belt are my favorite, for work and out at night. They are much silkier and more sophisticated than pantyhose, and give a very sexy feeling when walking and sitting in them.

I love wearing them. Usually pantyhose under pants and jeans and for day, but always stockings and a garter belt in the evening. they are so much more sheer and classic looking and I love the luxurious feel on my legs. If it was up to my hubby, I would be wearing stockings and a garter belt 27/7, he loves them as most all guys do.

I hate pantyhose, they are for transvestites and old ladies, but I wear sheer stockings and a garter belt everyday, to work and for play. They make you look and feel so sophisticated, and the other girl is right. I have never met a guy who can resist them they are so sexy.
