well then everyone I have made the choice to move to Perth from Launceston in order to be with my partner permanetly...anyway i am wondering what the average house price would be for the following.
3-4 bedrooms
ensuite
pool
1-2 car garage
in good area

also if you are able to please list some suburbs not to live in that would me much appreciated as I dont really know Perth that well but I have heard that Armadale is one suburb to avoid.

No sptupid answers please as this is a genuine question as I have made this choice for the best for both me and Laura.

GENUINE QUESTION MEANS GENUINE ANSWERS ONLY

thanks so much
Mitch

I would like something semi rural but close to the city, or as close as able to be.
hope this helps

Laura is in East Cannington/Beckenham and it seems alright, I basically want somewhere where I am able to go to my car of a morning and not worry about getting muged or going to sleep at night not worying about if the cars will be there next day, modified VT Commodre and a Subaru WRX to come upon my arrival..maybe the north suburbs somewhere, need to have shopping facilities....this is a must

Firstly Perth is physically large, with 1.3 million people hugging 100kms of coastline. You better be more exact when you mean a "good suburb".

Near the city means one million plus for a 3-4 bedroom house with pool.

The nicer suburbs are near the beach (west of the Kwinana/Mitchell freeways), or by the Swan River.

If you do not need to commute to the city centre, try Mandurah in the south or Joondalup in the north. You may even see some capital growth in the hills - not every WAussie wants to be by the beach.

Yes, have fun with that! Perth house prices have risen by something stupid like 48% in the last couple of years! You will be paying a LOT for a house with what you want - do you really want a 500,000 mortgage hanging over your head? You may have to settle for something a little less luxurious unfortunately - unless you're loaded then go for it!! Sorry I can't really give any useful info except that it is damn expensive... you could consider Adelaide - it's cheaper and at least closer than Tassie to Laura's family... Anyway good luck I hope you find something perfect - how exciting for you!!

i'm no longer likely to %. out factors - this is a constructive thank you to disillusioned human beings coz each physique thinks their section is the ideal! i think of the final homestead value in Perth replaced into around the $350K mark. this might have replaced presently with the entire international financial disaster that is going on. i be responsive to my section, that's the northern suburbs on the coast, the fees variety from approximately $300K as much as $2 Million. each suburb in Perth has its pricier streets and its funds ones. in case you're able to be greater particular approximately what you would be finding for in a community (Ie beaches, eating places, colleges, proximity to a workplace and so on) it could be greater straightforward to advise. Cheers

The medium house price in perth is now $430,000, and I dont think that will have a pool, It is now the second most expensive city in australia behind sydney, to buy a house. its a joke 1 1/2 years ago you could get all you want for $200,000,

Try www.realestate.com.au to get price ideas. As for good suburbs, would you prefer to be close to the beach or more rural? And do you want to be close to work?
