this is part two to another one of my questions, i was in a car wreck 2 months ago, I had a mri and it just showed that the fluid in my spine is dehydrated, and then i had a xray done at the chiropractor and they said that they are concerned about the lower disk in my back. so if something is wrong with the disk does it always show up on the mri and xray

I was an X-Ray/CT Tech and now I'm an MRI Tech. The X-Ray is good to detect if there's something wrong with your bony structures not your discs or any other soft tissue. MRI is like an X-Ray on steroids. It'll show pathology in all structures bony & otherwise.

Usually a mri and a x-ray will show up almost anything that is wrong with the body especially if there is something wrong with the spinal area. ood luck to you. Hope you recover well from your injuries.
