The anthropic principle notes that the universe appears to be impossibly fine-tuned for life. If any of the universal constants were even slightly different - in any way at all - be it gravity, electromagnetism, the weak and strong atomic forces, then the universe would be a giant disordered hydrogen cloud that never plasmified, or the universe would be an empty darkness of black holes.

The odds that this universe should even be here are infinitesimally small. Add in the likelihood of a life-emitting universe, and the odds go far longer; in fact the odds are virtually non-existent.

The anthropic principle offers only three alternatives:

1. This is a single universe in an infinite multiverse. If we exist in a multiverse in some way, than this just so happens to be that one rare universe that came out in a way that could emit life. Since this proposition can neither be verified or falsified, it has the exact same likelihood of being true as God is.

2. The universe somehow, against all odds, managed to turn out in this impossibly fine-tuned way. It is exceedingly unlikely that this is the case.

3. The universe was specifically intended (and caused) to exist. This can neither be proven nor falsified. But it is one of the only two plausible alternatives. (The other is #1 above.)

So in short - there is either a God, or there is a multiverse. Neither can be proven. Both require faith, should you give it credence. But neither are either of these alternatives unlikely.

Either of them.

Can you produce on iota of empirical data to suggest the former existance of anything even remotely primordialgoolike? Let alone any nonbiological matter or energy turning into biological life... *Do you know how to use law citations?* What does 567 A.2d 435 (Pa. Super 1999). mean? Without looking it up?

If we believe that the conditions exist for life on another planet then we have to assume that given probabilities beings could exist in the universe with the ability to make energy manifest itself as matter.

I know it is a push, but is cannot be discounted.

Of course. Yet you are probably looking for evidence that cannot also be explained away by an alternative world view. In that case, no evidence exists. That is because all data can be interpreted fully by different theories (see "underdetermination of theory" in philosophy of science).

I think the better arguments are deductive.

So whats yo problem. You got some beef with God. You don't like the way He made you. Are you a "silly" pig? I bet thats yo problem. You rejected God, so he allowed you to become silly (Romans 1:24,5). You don't like it. Silly porker, hmmm-thats funny. You gon be silly the rest of yo life.

Yes, but you have to "wake up" first. You're living in a dreamworld where your ego rules. There's no room for anything but yourself, you are your own god. Nice dream, but not Reality.
