You probably have nodules on you vocal cords...singers call them NODES. The only way to get rid of them is with surgery. Nodules develop on the vocal cords from over use or abuse of the voice.

You could see an EAR Nose throat specialist, you may have damaged your vocal cords and they may be scarred now.
Drinking warm tea and honey is a remedy a lot singers use. I think it is just for temporary strains, though. It sounds as though you may have done damage if your voice is raspy all the time.

You shouldn't have screamed so much. That sounds terrible. Have you seen a Dr about it - you could have something wrong with your throat - I would definitely get a Dr's opinion about your throat.

Please see an ear, nose, and throat specialist. You may have vocal nodules caused by the vocal abuse as a child. The e.n.t. can recommend treatment for any pathology that is going on. Good Luck!
