The T-Zone on my face looks reddish because the pores there are quite large. I currently wash with Aveeno Clear Complexion pads every morning and the Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser every evening. I also use Oil of Olay Regenerist Serum and Oil of Olay Complete Daily Moisture Lotion (with SPF15). What else can I use (or substitute) to help minimize the size of my pores?

Ok FYI - Oil of Olay products do not actually contain oil (the ones I use are oil free). Also the clear complexion products I use already have salyic(sp?) acid as well.

And I think one of you is confused ... "pores" does not mean "acne". Pores are the holes in your skin that allows your skin to breath and also were sweat comes out of (I don't want to get rid or my pores and they don't need healing).

I use this stuff called 'Ponds cool, calm, & perfected pore shrinking gel toner' found at places like walmart or walgreens.
It's clinically proven to shrink the size of your pores beacuse it makes it feel icy cold and that closes pores. (if you didnt already know, cold water closes pores, while hot water just opens them. so usually when you're dont washing your face, it's a good idea to splash your face with cold water.) I've been using this toner for a year now and it's my favorite skin product ever!
Here's a link that shows what it looks like if ya wanna check it out.

I paid about 5 dollars for mine at walart.

Hope this helps :)

There are several hundred products out there that help reduce the pore size. Exfoliation will help cleanse the pores free of free radicals that get down into the pores and clog them. To unclog pores there is a home remedy. Elmers Glue. Apply to your t-zone with your fingertip a thick strip of elmers glue. Let it dry completely and peel off the strip to release those free radicals .Then to reduce the size purchase some "pore skin refining serum" . A great product is Victoria Principals Skin Refining Serum ( you can check on ebay for it) or order it through a catalog. NOT only does it reduce pore size up to 43% in just 2 wks it helps reduce the reddness of the skin for a more even overall skin tone with continual use. Its a awesome product .To order a free catalog ... call 1-800-545-5595. She makes other products as well to help cleanse, exfoliate and keep your pores from clogging. Hope this helps.

you might want to stop using the oil products because when your pores are big on the t-zone, it probably means your skin is oily. THe reason they are so visibly is because there is oil and dirt stuck in them and it is trying to get bigger to maybe clean out, which never happens. I suggest using a product with scilysic (im not sure how to spell it) acid as the active ingredient. It dries you face and removes dirt and oil. Neugtrogena rapid acting pads are good. Continue to use foaming cleansers though, its the best for oily types of skin

I don't think you can minimize your pores but you can minimize the appearance of them. I have the same problem and I wash my face with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple, moisturize with When Hope is Not Enough and apply a clear foundation (tall from philosophy) that smoothes out the fine line and makes pores appear smaller. You can find it at Sephora, philosophy.com and even QVC.com

I have always suffered from large pores and the dreaded T-Zone for many years, I finally found some products to help them disappear....I use several products that minimize them substantially....First I use a mask by Aida Grey, you can buy them online....It is called Regenerative Pore Cleaner, its a white mask I use every night....The other product I use is also by Aida Grey and it is called Marine soap....Then for moisturizer I use "Sensation Totale" by Lancome, great product to minimize pores.....For foundation I use Adaptive by Lancome, this makeup is the best to make your pores disappear.....Hope this helps and good luck!

Keep them really clean. Exfolliate with a good product. Use products that are meant to be used together from the same cosmetic line.
