no, it's not wrong at all. it may be kind of hard hearing his name because it's the same as your ex's. just try to be strong, and the hurt will wear off. you can talk to your friend about how you're feeling, and she could maybe call her guy by his middle name when she's talking to you about him. it's worth a try.

As long as it is not the same person then I see no problems with it. Isn't that a little selfish of you to want her to wipe out every guy with the same name as your ex? Makes no since to me, feelings or not. You want her to be happy to, right? Best of luck.
