Okay;; So this house next door to me has been vacant for about 6 months. Now an 80 year old man with no car moved in. My mom found out because the guy who rents our upstairs apartment called and said his nephew was walking by and the man said 'why dont you come into the house and we can talk?' Luckily the 11 year old ran away. My little brother is only 9. And Im not even that old either. My mom is going to introduce herself to him and try to get his name so my dad can have his friend in the sheriff's office run a check on him. Im really creeped out. I know if he comes up to me I run but should I ask him his name first? Would it be okay if I said 'Whats your name again?' then he tells me. Then I sayd 'Um I dont know you very well so no...' And run away. Or would it be better to just run? Im nervous for me and my brother.

just avoid him all together...if he's really old...like you say...you shouldn't have a problem...it's not like he'll chase you down the street...and if does he won't run very fast...if he talks to you ignore him...don't ask him his name and don't run away...i doubt he'll do anything to you...especially since he seems kinda interested in little boys...not only that but maybe he didn't mean it the way you were thinking he said it...maybe he is just lonely...anyone can run from or fight an 80 year old man...you just need to relax and let your parents deal with the situation...

He is just an old man...lol calm down and breath. Back in his day that is what people did to be friendly. In this world though children are taught not to look, talk or have any contackt with strangers....I highly doubt that he want to kill you or anything. But if you just have that gut feelin that he is bad then just stay away from him and watch you brother. You can tell him your name be nice, but dont EVER go in his house. Just watch out for you little bro and you will be fine.

Okay, that is kinda creepy so I sugjest if you see him run away. I don't think you should ask him his name right there and then. Your mom will figure it out anyways. Just make sure you or your brother are never alone when walking outside.

Make sure you and your brother stay clear of him. If he talks to either of you, tell him that your not allowed to talk to strangers. Let your parents do all the detective work.

He in all hazard merely theory-approximately you and is flirting with you....consistent with hazard desirous to get extra of a courting with you. once you're creeped out by him, then delete him out of your chum's record.

no, don't just run away. do ask his name and tell him you're sorry but you're expected home very soon, smile, and walk away fast. it is scary out there nowadays but remember to keep confident and for sure, don't let the scare in your voice show. sometimes people thrive off of that and that's not what you want.

This is an adult matter and you should let your parents handle the situation. Do not put yourself in any danger by being around someone who makes you uncomfortable. Always trust your instincts.

If you're freaked out, stay away from him and let your mom deal with him.
