We've been friends for about 7 years, but we started talking more & getting more serious in the past 6 months. After I realized she was interested in hooking up, as I've always kind of wanted, I stopped returning most of her calls because I don't think I deserve someone as great as she is, though I would love to have her. Now even when we do talk (when I decide to answer or return her calls) I find myself being much more reserved than before. What should I do?

Open up man! If you stall, she'll move on, and you'll resent yourself for not moving on your feelings. If you've just been friends for 7 years, you're more deserving than you think. Most guys wouldn't stay around that long as just friends. Our attention span is too short. You've got something special to know her that well outside of a serious relationship.

If she's in contact then she believes you're worth it and deserve her, in case you shop denying her she'll initiate feeling the way you do. She may imagine that you do not experience a similar way or perhaps insulted that she isn't sturdy adequate to be a female friend, absolutely sturdy adequate to be a pal. It gained't damage to provide it a threat and in case you do not favor to interrupt you're friendship you want to seek suggestion from her about it earlier you lose her thoroughly. not something receives extra powerful at the same time as ppl end speaking, it absolutely receives worse it rather is from my experience.

You should either gain some confidence (you already know she likes you!) or stop leading her on.
