If Jesus came to save the lost. What does He do with heathens who are soooo lost they can't or won't come to repentance?

If so, then as some on here have suggested, let's pack it all in and throw the whole mess away. Having spent a good deal of my life studying the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures I certainly don't come to that conclusion. Instead I see story after story about losers (not winners), the least (not the greatest), the littlest (not the biggest), the dim-est (not the brightest), the foulest (not the most righteous), the f__k-ups (not the ones who get it right), being the ones who are deeply loved and greatly prized. It is not a collection of winner's stories. It is an anthology of humanity with all of its beauty and ugliness, and a God who seems to be remarkably like his/her creation. It is an image (sacrament) about how God has always been in and loving his creation - and that his creation has always been "in" its God. So the redemption stories in those Holy books are not about god leaving anyone out (including herself), but about how everyone was always in (all along). Contrary to what the moralists and hell-lovers proclaim, God has not changed his mind since saying in Genesis 1:31 about her creation: "it is so good, so very good!"

One must be willing to come to the foot of a blood stained cross before one can be redeemed. Until one reaches that point it doesn't matter how good you are or even what you do, lost is lost.

I am a heathen that has no hope, my only hope came when I realized that without the price paid by Jesus there was no hope.

sINCE gOD IS ALL POWERFUL FROM OUR PERSPECTIVEOPPS and "He would that we all be saved" then the door is open for a method other than just free choice. It also every knee will bow, so ya can't bow if ya don't exist, so the answer is there are somethings about the Spiritual world we do not know and probably do not need to know.

It also says many all called but few respond, or there's a big gate and a small one and those that take the big gate not so hot or maybe too hot..

The scripture to bounce this off of is that He created us to be His friends. I don't know about you but who wants a friend who does nto want to be their friend. Seems sound to me that He takes in those He created who choose to be His friend and leaves the rest to fend for themselves and I know the Atheists holler oh so unfair but if you create a walking picture do you get to say if the picture gets hung on your wall or goes into the fire or gets painted over, I think yes the creater gets to choose and not the picture, whether it is a walking picture or a talking picture whatever you make it then it is up to you.

Its not like all were not invited.

Anyone can come to repentance. Scripture is very clear on this. It's not whether or not they're too lost for repentance, it's whether or not they are will to admit that they are depraved and in need of Christ as a savior.

Here is prophecy by the great ancient wise man Ukutah, written in 1252 AD:

"And in the country of God, flying under a magnificent eagle, amidst a war against fanatic enemies who attacked from the air, there will be those loyal to God who will abuse His word, and condemn those who hold views separate from their own. These who believe themselves loyal but condemn will suffer the judgement of God, for all who He creates He will save, and nobody suffers in the realm of Satan, but shall have eternal life...."

Never!!! Even if one dies and ends up in hell Jesus is still willing to save. There are people who have experienced this and and called on his name and was rescued from the pits of hell, literally! Check out http://www.near-death.com/. God wants everyone saved even the lowest of the low and is doing all he can to make that happen without violating our free will.

Jesus died for everyone. It is a choice and I sympathize with you over your friend. Remember sometimes it is the darkest before the dawn. Continue to pray.

Jesus says no sin is too great for Him to clear. He can do everything, there are no people that are so bad they can't get into Heaven.

Those that don't come to God, die and go to Hell. That sounds sooo straight forward and it is. But it's the truth. If you're so lost that you yourself just don't come to God and just...try to deal with it on your own, thennn your eternity is Hell. A person cannot be so lost that God cannot save them. God can and will save anyone who wants to be.

Well, He probably tries to work in their lives through the people close to them. And He will always love them no matter what they do.
