To combat the gay and lesbian movement. Your scripture denounces it does it not? Is it not an abomination unto your Lord? Should not the gays and lesbians perish as those of Sodom and Gamorrah?

Actually, no that is not our duty and obligation. We are to lift up the name of Jesus and tell the gospel story. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to change lives. The scripture denounces all kinds of sins, including pre-marital sex. You don't hear folks railing against that one. No, tell people about Jesus and let God work in their lives. And God doesn't want anyone to perish. He wants all to be spared from hell and that is why He sent His only Son Jesus. I want gay people to know Christ, not perish.

Friend - Sodom and Gomorrah occurred in the Old Testament, prior to Jesus dying for our sins and the prospect of Grace for all. Though SOME Christians...and I use the word lightly...decry homosexuality...it is not my place to judge the sins of others and to do so is to go against the holy word of Jesus. I am to love ALL people, ALL. The sin of homosexuality, if it is sin, is between the person committing the sin and God. GB
