There is a wonderful tea from Colombia (South America) called Panela which is made from 100% cane sugar. You can buy panela in any Hispanic grocery store. All you do is boil a pot of water and drop the panela 'brick' in and let it melt. Boil it for just a few more minutes and it's ready. To give it a more festive taste, I slice an orange and when the tea is ready I place it in the pot before serving.

get a big punch bowl. fill it with lime punch (add a bit of vodka if you like) ring the edge of the punch bowl with candy canes --hang them on the inside of the bowl so they dip into the punch. take fresh lime slices and stick them on the rim of the punch bowl between the candy canes. throw a few handfuls of red and green maraschino cherries into the punch. make a ring of pine cones around the bottom of the bowl. float some red and green ball shaped tree ornaments on the surface of the punch. looks festive and tastes great (exspecially if there's vodka)
