I learned to bring more than 10 dollars on a first date. I took her to Sizzlers and didn't have enough to pay for the dinner so she put up some of her money. She was gracious about it then, but I still felt like I shrunk to a Mini Me version of myself when I discovered I had less than I thought. I laugh now, but I was sweating then. Another memorable first date a few years later was a double date with my best friend. His date's friend was making moves on me the whole night. She walked so close to me outside the theatre that I actually stepped off the curb I was so shocked. She was practically in my shirt! She was a cute asian girl and I ended up banging her at my friend's house later that night.

My fiance and I met on line and decided to meet at a local restaurant for dinner. Nothing unusual. Only the minute we met, was like meeting my long lost twin. He was so funny in a twisted kind of way and we hit it off immediately. I will always remember, I told him I had a friend that was going to call and that I would use that as an excuse to get out of the date if he was a loser. He told me, " Friends will help you move, but good friends will help you move a body"! I laughed so hard I cried! WE have been together 5 year last weekend!

It started out well, going to Ventana, nice meal. On the way home he realized he had an appointment, so he dropped me off at the Greyhound bus station and paid for my trip home.
Needless to say, there was no second date. And yes, I was very young and stupid and would never put up with something like that nowadays.

Dinner and a walk on the beach....wow! Oh yeah, it was kind of funny too...as we were walking on the beach, he decided it would be romantic to carry me (we knew each other pretty well before we started dating) and well, he lost his balance and dropped me. lol! It was funny. But that kiss he gave me after he helped me up...mmmm....
