@ Craig B: Like you, I'm 99.99% certain there is no such thing as god, precisely because there's no evidence of any such entity. As for the other 0.01%, that's such a small possibility that I think it's not worth bothering about -- therefore I'm willing to make that final small leap and declare myself convinced.

What is it that has convinced you that there is no god? I would phrase the statement differently but it would change it's meaning. "I am not convinced that there is a god."
What you said seems a very stalwart assertion to make. For me I would need evidence to be so sure. Apart from a lack of evidence in the affirmative, what evidence do you have that absolutely refutes the existence of god?
Don't get me wrong, I'm as staunch an atheist as you're likely to meet, but even I cannot say unequivocally that the possibility of the existence of god is zero. I am almost 100% sure there is no god, but I could never be 100% sure unless I became omniscient.
Given the lack of evidence for god's existence, and the sheer implausibility of such a thing based on what we understand about the universe, I do not believe in a god or gods.

I see matters of faith/non-faith as personal. What you personally believe or don't believe has no real impact on what I personally believe or don't believe. We're all human beings. Whether or not a person believes in a god does not factor into my estimation of them.
(And why would anyone report this question? It doesn't violate community guidelines).

i am also wondering about that question some few years ago but i decided to believe that there is really a God, because greater questions started to come up like... where did living things like humans and animals come from? from theory of evolution from tiny single celled ? where this single celled come from ? is this from dust? how could a non living thing evolve into a living thing? where and how this earth and stars formed? from dust, air and water? where did dust come from? if you will only think about a never ending question of where something has come from you will end up without any answer but to say that this is the miracle of God.

it's your right to believe (or not) in what ever you want.
if you want to believe in "the invisible pink unicorn" that is entirely up to you. i don't think people should be reported (i'm not entirely sure what that entails) for asking a reasonable question.

Other, it depends on what justification one uses to back it up; seems fine to me.

He is the savior and the only one who can redeem your soul.
put your trust in Him.
Satan has tricked you into believing those things. when you die you have two choices
1)spend eternity with God in paradise
2)spend eternity with satan burning and being eaten by worms.
your choice.
