I think they can be good it depends on what you're looking for. Most of the complaints I hear from friends is that the pics are not current and they feel that some of the people on there are misleading the ones that respond to their ads. I guess you won't know until you try......good luck.

I think everything has a purpose and these sites are great for single people. But they arent all they are cracked up to be. There are so many people in relationships or married who use these sites for their own kicks i just cant take them seriously.
You never know if your seeing or dating someone who already has someone and is just looking for some fun on the side. As far as im concerned - BEWARE and Join at your own risk!

Well I've heard a lot of horror stories and I've also heard of a lot of happy marriages! I think the concept is a good one but you have to be very careful no matter which one you use. Don't give a lot of personal information, and on your first date be very careful, meet somewhere public you can drive seperately. Verify the information someone gives you. Know what YOU want (a fling? a date? marriage? :-) ) and what your DATE wants. I've heard a lot of good things about match.com and e-harmony.

They are a good as another way to meet people, including the typical offline methods. They also allow you to "meet" people you'd likely never have run across in your daily offline life.

for myself i wouldn't do on-line dating because it can be a very dangerous thing to do because they have predators on-line and it's noway for you to know who you're talking to i wouldn't do it myself and i wouldn't advise you to either
