Diagonally from screen corner to screen corner. makes no difference upper right to botton left, or top left to bottom right.

You meaure a television using any length measuring instrument and meansure it from the lower-left corner to the upper-right corner to determine the length.

Why do you want to measure your TV it's not like it going to shrink with time pass by, just trust the factory. Some brand will have less than its mention since the screen was cover by the front cover but this is just 1 or 2" max.
