It may be that her dad told her to make nice with the new neighbor, but after spending some time together she realized that you're not a good match for her. Just living near each other isn't much of a basis for a friendship, especially once you become a teenager and develop your own style, your own tastes, and your own group of friends.
It doesn't sound like she's being mean to you, talking bad about you, or anything than amounts to an enemy. She's just not a friend. It happens.
Keep being polite and friendly, but don't try to force a friendship on her.

Ignore her and get a new friend. I know this sounds brutal but is she really worth your friendship. Someone who at first treats you great and then smooshes you should not be considred a friend. Do you really think a FRIEND would do that?

Thats very odd. I would confront her about it. She had no right to just stop talking to you out of the blue. Or maybe you offended her somehow when you were in her house.

Talk to her...ask her why she isn't talking to you. Maybe you did or said something wrong and didn't realize it??? If she says she doesn't want to be your friend, simply move on. There are plenty of friends out there!

okay, i know it sounds cliche, but she is not worth it. If she isn't paying attention to you now, it is bound to happen again. So find yourself some quality friends and you will be much better off

that's strange but if she ignores you when you try and talk to her then just forget about her and move on, someone who ignores you for no apparent reason is just rude.
