I'm afraid you've lost your natural gloss and shine for the time being. Best thing you can do now is use serum to stop the ends splitting and always use a heat protector before blow drying / straightening. Try and use an intensive conditioner weekly / hot oils to put some moisture back in.

You need a shampoo & seperate conditioner with a hair mask 2 times a week.
You need a product which contain oil which will put moisture in your hair & the oil will add back the shine you are lacking.
www.lookfantastic. com
all there products are cheap & arrive really fast, so no hanging around. The product which you should use is not widely available in some shops so is better to get it from this site if you cannot find any one in your area selling it.
redken shampoo for coloured hair (red bottle) contains almond oil will help the colour & put the shine back in your hair if used with the conditioner & hair mask. For really dry hair use redken all soft on your hair is excellent as is the one for coloured hair. Also when using the hair mask I know this sounds silly but after you have put the mask on the hair put some cling film around hair heap it all on top of your head so the heat will make the product soak into your hair. put dryer on it for about 3 mins on low heat then rinse as instructions tell you.
hope this helps. I know a lot of people talk about washing hair in cold water washing with fairy liquid, hair is what I know about so I hope this is all right for you.

car dude is spot on, use the juice of a lemon to bring some brightness back into your locks but you will have lost any tone as the brighter your hair is the less tone it will have. if your hair is really dry try using AUSSIE THREE MINUTE MIRACLE TREATMENT your hair should feel like silk afterwards.

i work abroad and my hair gets in awful condition with chlorine and sun damage. i found that trsemme is ace, esp. if you put it on after shampooing and leave it on for about ten mins wrapped up in a warm, damp towel. also i quite like superdrug's own de-tangling apple spray for hair......its actually for kids but its the best leave in conditioner, its 99p and also your hair smells delicious.
